How to Make Huawei USB Modified Testpoint Cable?

METHOD 1

• USB Cable (Regular)
• Resistor 10k OHM
• Blade 
• Soldering Materials (Soldering gun, Solder, Paste, etc.)

 Resistor Color Codes Information 

Resistor 10kΩ color code is Brown-Black -Orange, where is the 1st band analyze the 1st significant digit, brown is the first color of the resistor and brown color value  is1, the second band analyzes the 2nd significant digit, the second color analyze the same existing value and color black value is 0 and the third band analysis multiplier and on 10k Resistor third colors is orange and orange color value is 3 it means multiply with 1000 so the10k ohm Resistance value is (1-0-x1000) =10000 ohm=10k ohm. Note, Different resistors have different color bands,as 4band,5band,6band where the last one band analysis the tolerance on percentage and the last band analyzes the temperature.

10K OHM Resistor is jointed between Red (Vcc+) and the Green Wire (D+). If you have an SMD (surface-mount devices) Resistor, then Resistance measurement Coding for 10k Ω is 103, there are 1=1, 0=0 and 3 is =000 =K its codes tend to be 103. You can add a switch between them to toggle between regular cable to modified cable.

METHOD 2

• USB Cable (Regular)
• Resistor 270 OHM
• Resistor 1.5K OHM
• Resistor 150 OHM
• Blade 
• Soldering Materials (Soldering gun, Solder, Paste, etc)

Resistor 270 OHM Color Code       Red-Violet-Brown 

Resistor 1.5K OHM Color Code    Brown-Green -Red

Resistor 150 OHM Color Code      Brown -Green-Black

You can use these 3 Resistors by this sequence, 

Remove wire insulation from the blade and solder the wires, Wire Red(Vcc+) by 150-ohm Resistor, Wire color Green(D+) by 1.5k ohm Resistor and wire color black(Ground, V-) by Resist 2700 ohm, joint separately and the second end(leg) of Resistors joint together, It is bias current flow between them.
